Cassava Pone
Ingredients
3 Cups Grated Cassava1 ½ Cups Grated Coconut
½ Cup Grated Pumpkin
1 ½ Cups Granulated Sugar
2 tsp. Ground Cinnamon or Mixed Spice
1 tsp. Vanilla
½ tsp.Black Pepper
3 Cups Milk or Water
Preparation
1. Mix Cassava, Coconut and Pumpkin in a large bowl.2. Add Sugar, Cinnamon, Vanilla and Black Pepper.
3. Add Milk to bowl and mix well.
4. Pour in a greased shallow pan 12" x 8" X2".
5. Bake at 350 Fahrenheit (177 Celsius) for 45 – 50 minutes
6. Leave to cool and then cut into squares.
